"Each player starts with eight random facts/habits or embarrassing things about themselves. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged, and to read your blog."

I was plesantly surprised when Merewyn told me about this site. I've been hoping for some kind of Pagan community like this so that I can reach out and meet other similar thinkers. Coming from my background and current limited resources in the human contact department, I have had a lonely Pagan existance (excepting only my sister-heart Merewyn....but she lives very far from me...)

I come from a Catholic upbringing by two very loving parents. Unfortunately, I feel that my transition into the Pagan path isn't something that they will understand and welcome. My husband is very sweet and understanding as he has a similar Christian upbringing, but also explores Eastern philosophy and religion.

I do not think negatively Christianity, not in the least. I respect it as a very meaningful religion to those who practice it...as I do of all religions. My parents are very involved in their church...my father is even becoming a deacon. I think it is wonderful that he has been so sprirtually called. But my heart and spiritual fulfillment is founded in the Pagan path.

Currently, my husband is leaving for extensive military training, and I am moving back home to live with my parents for the six month duration. I am hesitant because I do not want to forsake my devotions while living at home, but I do not know how my parents will react when I hold my sabbats and esbats. I am praying to the Goddess and God for guidance....as always.

I hope to meet some wonderful people here and be able to exchange thoughts and ideas....and have a sense of much needed community.

    Blessed Be!
